Once upon a time, a poor old woman, Sonya, worked as a consultant/tutor to make ends meet. She had been in financial trouble ever since she was terminated from her job due to the agency’s downsizing. It had been a tough blow, but she had picked herself up and started consulting/tutoring to make ends meet. However, finding clients was more challenging than she had thought. Her savings were running out, and she was starting to feel desperate.

One day, she got a call from a client who wanted her to analyze Rotten Tomatoes scores for various movies. The client wished to have the analysis done in just one hour, as he would be making his next scheduled presentation to the bosses at Netflix. However, there was a big problem: all 5000 scores were in the form of alphanumeric strings like “78/100”. Sonya set about using her favorite software, Tableau, to calculate the scores and get an average, but it couldn’t handle the string format.

She was panicked because the deadline was fast approaching, and she didn’t want to disappoint her client. As she was about to give up, she remembered a tool that she had heard of called ChatGPT. It was a language model that could help with various tasks, including data analysis. She decided to give it a try and typed in her problem. She gave it the nickname of Chadita…
