Tableau Tiled vs Floating Layout style for Dashboards

First off open up the new dashboard and proceed down to the bottom of the page where you can decide between tiled and floating dashboards. First choose the word tiled and start out by dragging your sheets onto the dashboard to see that behavior.

You will notice that your sheets snap to different areas of the grid like this:

There will be gray outlined areas indicating where the sheet is going to drop. Move your cursor around to try out different locations for the sheet. Then drop it in that area that you like.
