Because I am more used to Tableau, when I encounter the need to count allS the rows in my table, I know that Tableau will instantly have a generated data piece at the bottom of the Data PANE. Every time you Drag a table into Tableau, it automatically generates certain pieces of data.

So, I jumped in confidently to tell my student how to do this in power BI.
