Lose weight by clearing out the cupboards!
Losing weight and getting healthy can feel like an overwhelming task, but sometimes, the simple changes make the biggest impact. Clearing out your cupboards of tempting, unhealthy food and avoiding social situations that revolve around food can help you stay focused and on track. I know this from experience, as I lost 15 pounds by following this approach.
When I first decided to lose weight, I was frustrated and overwhelmed by all the available diets and weight loss programs. I didn’t know where to start, but I knew I needed to make a change. I took a step back, analyzed my eating habits, and realized that my biggest weakness was the unhealthy snacks and food I kept in my cupboards.
I took a bold step and cleared my cupboards of all the junk food and unhealthy snacks. This was a momentous change for me as I had always used food as a comfort and a way to cope with stress. But with my kitchen cabinets bare, I was forced to make healthier choices.
