Don’t worry so much about the apocalypse, it is probably not coming to you.

Ah, the stock market. The land of endless opportunities where fortunes are made, and dreams come true — or so they say. If you’re like me, though, the very thought of investing has probably sent you spiraling into a pit of anxiety more times than you care to admit. And why? Because every time you even consider dipping a toe into those investment waters, there’s always that one “doom-and-gloom” guru screaming from the rooftops, “The end is near! Sell everything! The sky is falling!”

I’ll admit it: I used to be a *total* scaredy-cat when it came to investing. And boy, do I regret it.
