Saving money can work against you, here’s 5 game-changers that enhance your health AND wallet.
My friend Janice was working as an exotic dancer when she experienced the punishment of not being financially frugal. She had to take on extra dances even at times when she was not feeling well and sometimes she had to take the place of Nadine, the popular rival who always traveled the stage with a python. Heavens to Betsy!
Eventually she wound up at the urgent care with extreme back pains from lifting that enormous python. This is one example of trying so hard to make money that our health care costs eventually sabotage our fat bank accounts, and leave us wishing we had gone fishing or taken some time to relax instead of working ourselves to poor health.
Here are 5 ways that you can preserve your health without spending a ton of money:
1. Buy foods that are both inexpensive and healthy and easy to prepare, such as oranges, bananas, apples and sweet potatoes. No need to eat meat every night to get your protein. Try putting eggs into carby dishes such as ramen noodles and fried rice. Eggs are incredibly healthy, and you can get low-cost eggs at some supermarkets such as Aldi’s.
